Realization of a turnkey project consisting of a tomato nursery with a greenhouse surface of 88,000 m2 and a workspace of 17,000 m2. The specialty in this project is that the heater is connected to the waste heat from the nearby power station. The nursery is designed in such a way that it is possible to switch to the cultivation of cucumbers in the future.

We have realized:

• A Venlo type greenhouse of 88,000 m2 with a trellis width of 8 m (2 x 4), a section distance of 4.5 m and a post height of 6 m;
• CO2 dosing installation system;
• A horizontal heat storage tank with a capacity of 140 m3;
• A heating system which is supplied with low-grade heat from the nearby power plant;
• Both thermal and hydro-technical installations, which are controlled by a climate computer;
• Recirculation fans for an even distribution of temperature and relative humidity;
• sulfur evaporators;
• An HD-UV disinfectant;
• The storage of water, drainage water and disinfected water in silos.
