10000m² - Tomato

Realization of a turnkey project of 10.000 m2. In this new greenhouse tomato’s are grown. The most special of this project is that Certhon was head contractor of this project and that the greenhouse as well as the heating system, the electrical system and the substrate system have been supplied by Certhon.
 
We have realized:

• A Venlo type greenhouse of 10.000 m2, with a 8 m trellis width (2 x 4 m), 5 m section distance and 5 m post height;
• The greenhouse is equipped with an insect netting and an energy saving screen, so that it is possible to grow the crop with a low energy consumption.
• The complete greenhouse heating system with a boiler capacity of 1.460 kW;
• CO2 dosing system;
• A vertical heat storage system;
• Pipe rail heating and grow pipe heating;
• Grow gutters with a drain water collection system;
• The irrigation unit with the drip irrigation system;
• Fogging system;
• The complete electro technical installation including the delivery and mounting of an integrated hydro climate computer and the connection of recirculation fans, ventilation motors, screening motors and the complete boiler house installation.
